The Tiltonsville Police Dept. is always looking for qualified Officers. If you are interested in a career with the Tiltonsville Police Dept. you must first have a valid certification from the Ohio Police Officers Training Academy (OPOTA). Applicants must fill out an application (Application) and submit it to the Tiltonsville Police Dept. with your current resume and certifications. All applicants will be carefully considered by the Police Chief who will then conduct interviews and submit recommendations to the Tiltonsville Police Committee for final approval. To be considered all applicants must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, no Felony convictions. Misdemeanor convictions will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Successful applicants must have good moral values and be willing to follow strict Standard Operating Procedures established by the Tiltonsville Police Dept.
